Making Moving Easy
Transitions of any kind, even those made with our consent, can be hugely overwhelming at worst and deeply uncomfortable at best. Transitioning from a large family home in which one has spent many memorable years can be both physically and emotionally daunting, even with the luxury of time but more so in a moment of sudden crisis.
More importantly, factors such as delayed parenting and increased life span have given rise to the “sandwich generation”, referring to those adults in their 30s and 40s who care for their aging parents while supporting their own children. In addition, today, many families are geographically dispersed, both locally and abroad.
Light precedes every transition. Whether at the end of a tunnel, through a crack in the door or the flash of an idea, it is always there, heralding a new beginning.
